ARTIST STATEMENT

Echoes of Infinity series

My journey as an artist began with creative makeup, where I discovered a passion for transforming faces into expressive canvases. This love evolved into the medium of drawing, focusing on portraits and photorealism to capture human emotion and focusing on minute details. Now in my third year of university, my work explores reflections, repetition, and alternate dimensions – inviting viewers into surreal, infinite spaces. Inspired by the illusion of infinity which are immersive and blur the boundaries between reality and imagination. By using simplistic drawing techniques, I create portals that suggest endless possibilities – creating pieces where time dissolves, inviting contemplation of our place within the infinite. These themes connect to my growing interest in tattoo artistry, where permanence, symbolism, and precision converge. Through each medium, I aim to tell stories that constantly push the boundaries of identity, perception, and the human form.
