SINJ RICHARDSON
This is a visualisation which shows ‘SecondBite’ a platform which aims to reduce food waste by developing upon the current food dating system. This poster would be hung in supermarkets/stores to explain visually to users how to use this system.
This poster was designed to advertise ‘Lancscent’ - a perfume themed festival in Lancaster town. The perfume icon in the bottom right features the Lancaster rose, drawing upon local history.
This is a model of one of the key attractions at ‘Lancsent’ festival being a physical takeover of Dalton Square in a Paco Rabanne theme. The human figures are shown to give a sense of scale.
My first introduction to design was during secondary school through woodworking projects where I was drawn to the hands-on nature and the feeling of connection to my final piece. However, throughout my design education, I have learnt that design is about being adaptable in order to become a well-rounded designer through possessing both physical and computer skills. In short, I have grown to become an interdisciplinary designer who utilises these skills to evoke emotion and connect with audiences, whether that is through graphic design, branding or product design.
