LILY GABRIELLA HARDIKER
This poster is from a speculative design fiction project, highlighting the potential that exoskeletons have. This poster illustrates how enhanced models of exoskeletons become commodified and inaccessible for people who need them, causing a social divide between people who can afford these high-end models, and people who cannot.
Within this Design Visualisation project, I developed the concept of ‘Enchantopia’, a festival aimed to encourage children to get involved in the arts. I created the branding and advertisement methods, maps and merchandise, and two 3D models of exhibitions.
As part of a group Design Consultancy project with Energy Lancaster, we developed an awareness campaign for Lancaster University’s sustainable energy infrastructures. We designed characters of ducks and different energy infrastructures as a fun, attention grabbing way of communicating Energy Lancaster’s message on these posters.
As a graphic designer, I enjoy exploring my creativity through experimenting with new ideas and techniques. In particular, I am inspired by both the digital and natural world, which allows me to develop unique and meaningful designs. I believe that design is an effective vessel for social change, an idea that has become central to my work, through both collaborative, and individual design processes.
