SYNOPSIS
Phill, a struggling screenwriter, waits anxiously outside the house he once called home, holding a gift for his son, Jack. When Claire, his estranged wife, returns, their mundane exchange quickly turns into a heated argument. Years of unspoken frustrations erupt as the couple confronts their fractured relationship, revealing deeper conflicts about dreams, sacrifices, and blame.
Through sharp dialogue and poignant silences, their conflict lays bare the emotional cost of Phill’s unfulfilled ambitions and Claire’s burden of responsibility. In the end, there is no dramatic reconciliation—only the quiet acceptance that separation might be the only way for both to heal and move forward.
